1. Where does your inspiration come from for your music?
i just love to play. it feels good, sounds good, to me. it is not hard to find inspiration or reasons to do it...

2. Have you always wanted to perform?
sure. when i was in the 5th grade i played drums in a school safety patrol party. the girl i had a crush on, melissa melendez, loved it. the idea was firmly in place after that.

3. When you gave your music to be on the soundtrack, did you know that it was for such a big francise?
no, i had only heard of the movie. i didn't know it was such a big deal. i was pleasantly surprised.

4. Have you seen New Moon? And if so, what did you like about it?
yes i have seen it twice now. my favorite part was actually not in the movie. it was taking my parents to see it in the huge multiplex in my hometown, and watching them when the song came on. that was great.

5. Where you proud that your song was in New Moon?
? i don't understand the question?

6. Have you gotten any other oppertunities since being on the soundtrack that you feel you wouldn't have before? -dream_2me
well vagrant records has released the hurricane bells record now, so i think the movie connection helped with that. and we get to meet a lot of great twilight fans when we play that we probably wouldn't see otherwise.

7. Did you write various drafts of this song previously? Or was this the original lyrics from the beginning? -greenstar910
original. i had the song completely recorded when they asked to use it.

8. How were you signed on for the movie? Were you approached? Or did you Aproached them?
my music publisher pitched them the song, and they liked it. i guess it took them a few months of work, but for me it was one phone call. they asked and i said yes.

9. What was the moment like for you when you were signed on?
i was told not to tell anyone at first, because there was some speculation as to who was going to be on the soundtrack. when i could finally tell everyone it was great.

10. Had you read the books or seen the movies before you were signed on?
nope.

11. What was the inspiration for your song on the New Moon Soundtrack?
i wrote it a couple of years ago. i just liked the happy melody, with the kind of darker, more sinister words.

12. Can you tell us exactly where you were when you first thought of the lyrics for your song?
i was on my couch in the east village in manhattan! up late at night.

13. What was the inspration for your name?
i had heard about these heavy bells that used to be hung high in trees by the sea. they would only ring when a dangerous storm was coming, and they would warn the people below. they were called hurricane bells, and i thought the whole thing was just a beautiful image, and a beautiful name.

14. How were you discovered?
in a basket on my mom's doorstep. naked.

15. Are you excited or proud that you have made a bigger name of yourselves?
both!

16. If you had a choice what other movie would you LOVE to have a song in?
eclipse!

17. Did you get to meet any of the cast or crew?
yes i met the guy who plays felix, who was a really nice guy. he seemed to have a good attitude about the twilight phenomenon. also a few more of the volturi, but not dakota!

18. Did you see the final movie? What were your thoughts on it?
yes, twice!

19. Describe in one word the feeling of when you first heard your song in the movie.
awesome.
